Position:
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and other machinery, following safety procedures and manufacturing instructions.
- Complete excavation, placement, and site preparation as directed by management.
- Transport and distribute materials, such as soil, rock, and construction debris, using heavy equipment.
- Regular equipment inspections, checking for proper operation and identifying any maintenance requirements.
- Follow safety rules and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and site managers to meet project goals and timelines.
- Load and unload equipment onto trucks or conveyors as needed.
- Maintenance of small equipment, such as lubrication and cleaning.
- Report any equipment damage or safety concerns to management.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including tasks performed and equipment usage.
- Follow project plans, plans, and instructions to ensure that the work is done correctly.
- Use heavy machinery in different climates and locations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL) with a good driving record (for equipment requiring on-road driving).
